Kiss Me I’m Dying

2023, 1180 x 550 x 1100 MM, painted veneer-layered MDF, oak, broomsticks, screws, wood plugs, wood glue, metal parts

Made from round tabletop cut into three. Restored old broomsticks were sharpened to a point and connect the red body from top to bottom. Oak was used as corner reinforcement to not have it collapse under its own weight. Kiss Me I’m Dying was first shown at group exposition “Cut-Out” in the VE Gallery in Amersfoort under the title “Red and Dead”.
